3) On (Not) Resisting ISIS | Dr. Arnold Neufeldt-Fast

In this episode, Mark reflects on Jesus’ teachings and early churches' responses to violence. Are "protecting the innocent" and "sinning for justice" an acceptable Jesus-following ethic? He mulls over the possibility that perhaps he is far more committed to his life and loved ones than to the Kingdom-on-Earth project that God is trying to get done in the world.

Then he sits down with Dr. Arnold Neufeldt-Fast, currently both seminary Academic Associate Dean and mayoral candidate for Whitchurch-Stouffville, to talk about healthy communities, sustainable living, Mennonite roots, continental theology, and the heritage of conscientious objection in Southern Ontario. And swimming.

The file is large again this week because to make it smaller badly degraded the sound quality. Still a work in progress! Thanks for your understanding.
